Burnaby Flatfield 3D Shoot // October

On October 18th, Burnaby Archers held their October Flatfield 3D Shoot at Kensington Field (near Deer Lake).  Steve and I met up with our friends, Andy, Ken, Wyatt, Kayla and Amilya (all of us are members from Semiahmoo Archers!) and started off the morning great!

By the end of the first round it started raining like crazy... luckily we had our jackets along in the car, but we still got pretty wet throughout the afternoon. Typical BC weather! :)

Big thanks to Burnaby Archers for organizing, setting up and hosting the 3D shoot!  Here's a few photos from Sunday...

Steve shot the first round with his Mathews Conquest 4 and Carnivore Arrows by Black Eagle Arrows
Cecilia Flaming - shooting my Bowtech SWAT (making sure I'm ready for hunting!)

And then the RAIN arrived... luckily we had our waterproof jackets to keep us warm and dry!

Steve switched it up for the second round and shot his Hoyt Contender Elite!

Steve and I had to leave early before the door prizes and ribbons were given out - but I received a message later from Kayla that Steve placed 3rd (with Compound Fixed Pins - his Mathews bow) and 4th (in Compound Open - his Hoyt bow)!  This was the first time he shot his Hoyt at at 3D!  I also managed to place 1st in Compound Fixed Pins! :)
